
Hackathon ZATCA
Event designed to spark innovation and develop creative solutions to the challenges faced by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). The goal is to position the Authority as a global model in managing zakat, taxes, and customs, while enabling economic sustainability, boosting trade, and streamlining processes.
Challenges Guide
(University students, entrepreneurs, and employees of government entities)
The applicant must be a resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Non-Saudis are permitted to participate, provided that the team representative is a Saudi national.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Participation is open only to teams (2 to 5 members). Individual entries are not accepted.
Only one challenge must be selected from the available options
The team leader must complete and accurately record all Member’s information
Duplicate registrations by the same person are not permitted.
The participant must attest to the accuracy and reliability of the information provided.
The submitted idea must be within the hackathon's scope.
Attendance is mandatory for all stages, from the boot camp to the closing ceremony in Riyadh

Measures the ability of the idea to address the proposed challenge and achieve tangible results leading to a real and usable solution.
Feasibility
Measures the practicality of the idea and its potential for implementation in a real-world context.
Scalability
Measures the impact of the idea on the community and its ability to meet tangible needs in reality.
Innovation and Creativity
Measures the uniqueness of the idea and its innovativeness, and whether it offers a new and original solution.
Sustainability
Measures the potential for the idea's application and sustainability over the long term.
Presentation Quality
Measures the quality of the presentation and the clarity of conveying ideas to the judging panel.
